Community Service
The students at Robert Healy School want to be good citizens and role models for our community. The goal for each year is a minimum of 40 hours. Service is offered at school and may be obtained through outside organizations, such as the library or church groups. A letter describing the service, the hours, and the contact person needs to be attached. All service logs are due to Mrs. Gracia by April 11, 2014.
This is not the same as school service. Students may be asked to perform duties that help within the school. These students are chosen by the staff.
Both types of service will earn recognition at the awards ceremony.
Community service logs will be provided. If you need to make your own, the following information is required.
Date Activity Location Signature Time
Please note: Cleaning your house does not count as community service. Do it anyway, and be a neat person.
Requirements:
Grade 7: 20 hours
Grade 8: 40 hours
